インドにゴルフのツアーがあることを知ったのは2022年の11月でした。
2022年は日本国内の下部ツアーであるAbemaツアーにフル参戦しました。
そこでシーズンを通しての賞金ランキング上位約20位に入れば翌年のレギュラーツアーの出場権を獲得することができるのですが、そこには入れませんでした。
それとは別に、8月～12月に4ステージ行われる出場権をかけた予選会QTでは3rdステージでの敗退となりました。
敗退したのは2022年11月上旬。2023年に試合の場を国内に確保することができず考えた結果、海外での活動の場所を探し始めました。
2019年にフィリピンツアーに参戦していたこともあり、フィリピンツアーの運営に問い合わせたり、タイやアジアンツアーを調べましたが、予選会がすでに終わっていたり定員オーバーでキャンセル待ちだったりの状態でした。
そしてグーグルで手あたり次第いろいろな国のツアーを調べていた最中にインドにたどり着きました。
調べたところ、年間24試合、賞金の規模は1試合あたり40lacs～1.5crore(当時640万円～2400万円)。
予選会は1月～2月に1st stageとFinal stageの２回でまだ参加可能だったこと、賞金規模は日本に比べたら決して大きくないものの十分に稼ぐチャンスはある、試合の場でしか成長できないと思い挑戦することを決意しました。
6種類の予防接種、ビザの取得、いざ現地に到着してからの文化の違い(空港から会場までレンタカーで300km運転したため最初は交通事情に一番驚きました)、まだコロナ渦であったためイレギュラーなこともありましたが、単身インドでの挑戦が始まりました。

It was November 2022 when I found out that there was a golf tour in India.
In 2022, I participated fully in the Abema Tour, which is a second tour in Japan.
If I had ranked in the top 20 in the prize money throughout the season, I coud have qualify for the main tour the following year, but I was unable to do so.
Apart from that, I was defeated in the 3rd stage of the Qschool(qualifying tournament for the right to participate next year’s tournaments), which is held in 4 stages from August to December.
I faild it on early November 2022. After thinking about not being able to secure a venue for any tournaments in Japan in 2023, I started looking for a venue for our tournaments overseas.
As I participated in the Philippine tour in 2019, I contacted the Philippine tour management and looked into Thailand and the Asian tour, but I found out that the qualifying round had already ended or there was a waiting list for cancellations due to overcapacity.
While searching for tours in various countries, I found India.
According to my research, there are 24 matches per year, and the prize money ranges from 40 lacs to 1.5 crores (6.4 million yen to 24 million yen at the time) per match at 2022.
At that time I was still possibe to participate at the Qschool in India, the 1st stage and the final stage, held in January and February, and although the prize money is not as large as in Japan, there is still a chance to earn enough money.Also I can only grow through competitions. So I decided to take on the challenge.
6 types of vaccinations, obtaining a visa, the difference in culture after arriving at the venue (I drove 300km from the airport to the venue in a rental car, so I was most surprised by the traffic situation),since it was still a pandemic, there were some though thing to do. Although, my challenge in India had begun.
